FIT Test of 10 ug/g

Hi,

Has anyone had a FIT stool  test done and their result was 10 ug/g ? 

If so did you need a colonoscopy? What was tour outcome?

Had my results through but typically it’s weekend so can’t speak to a GP and I’m panicking because this sounds like a borderline positive result. I have read anything below 10 is considered normal.

    Did you managed to get an uodate from your GP?

     

    i just received the same results and I am panicking already, not sure what ti think.

    Hi,

    I thought I’d replied to the other posts above but can’t see my replies!

    I spoke to the doctor and she marked it as normal, she actually said mine had come through as under 10 but couldn’t tell me what the actual value was. I wasn’t 100 percent convinced by that but the fact she said normal reassured me a bit.

    I also posted on another forum and had a reply that their GP had told them they considered anything under 25 as normal, also I read the general screening test they post out is also set much higher. Maybe speak to your gp and they might reassure you,
