Worried symptoms are a sign of breast cancer

I could be being paranoid but I got diagnosed with a fibrodenoma (benign) in 2013 and now over the last 3 months iv had left scapula discomfort (like muscle ache spasms) and my left breast has become very sensitive with a dull ache, throbbing.
mom going to ring the GP tomorrow but am very worried. Should I be x

  • Hello [@Jobo2k1988]‍

i hope you are ok, I just wanted to see what the doctor said? I've got lots of aches and pains atm and it's so worrying x

  • Welcome to the forum Jobo2k1988 although I'm sorry for the reason you're joining us.

It's only natural to be worried when any unusual or unexplained symptoms appear but you're doing the right thing by getting in touch with your GP and I hope you've managed to book an appointment with them since making this post.

Our members know how scary this time can be so hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

In the meantime, we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed your symptoms are no cause for concern.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi I went to the drs and they seem to think it's muscular so have advised me to take medication and see if that helps. If not then to go back for further assessment. I honestly don't think it's muscular as iv had that many of times. This is a dull ache type stabbing pain in my left side along with sensitivity to my left breast.

il keep an eye on things and go back in a couple of weeks if the pain doesn't go away.
