anyone else had colposcopy biopsy suspected Ovarian cancer?

I'm waiting for colposcopy biopsy results (been 2 weeks) after having raised CA125 and ultrasound showing fibroids and cyst on ovary.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this procedure for suspected ovarian cancer?  I thought this procedure was only done for cervical or endometrial cancer and not  ovarian?!  Also wondering how long the waiit is for biopsy results as no one explained how you receive your results or when?  Thanks for reading and any advice.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with some health concerns at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about waiting for the results. 

    A colposcopy is is a test to have a look at the cervix in detail so I'm a little unsure what connection there may be to the results of your ultrasound and blood tests. 

    I'd certainly suggest speaking to your GP who should have access to the results and clinic appointments you've had to date and should be able to hopefully explain a little more about what they are investigating. 

    Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long for your results and they will bring you some reassurance.
