Enlarged lymph node

This is my first post, And I'm very scared. I have been referred to the breast team as I have a very enlarged ancillary lymph node. This has been picked up on a CT scan. The scan was of the thorax and abdomen, And say there is no other area of concern. I had a ruptured breast implant taken out in Nov 2019 and have been told that I have silicone in the lymph nodes. I'm am so scared and the horrid thoughts going through my head are something else. How do I try to stay positive x

  • Welcome to the forum Booboo820 although I'm sorry about what was found on your CT scan and for the worry this is causing.

Many of our members have been in similar situations and know how tough it is to keep those unpleasant thoughts at bay so you're not alone and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

I hope it won't be long until the breast team can see you but in the meantime I hope the tips and advice given in this article will help whilst you wait.

Fingers crossed for good news when the time comes Booboo.

    All the best,
