Pleomorphic Breast Calcification cluster

Im literally driving myself insane reading up on this. I know you're not meant to google, but after receiving my Mammogram report and now im on the mend after the core biopsy, I'm feeling a lot more anxious about the results. And I just couldn't help it.

Results day is still 3 days away!
My husband has calmed down a little so now apparently it's my turn to freak the hell out.
Has anyone else has these kind of clusters?

  • Waiting for results is always very tough but there's just one day to go now, so hang in there and if you can, try to keep yourself busy until tomorrow. Maybe some of the tips and advice given in this article will help.

Hopefully some of our members will offer their support to you soon but if you feel it may help to discuss this with one of our cancer nurses, they're just a phone call away on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

Fingers crossed for good news tomorrow Karenleona77.

  • It came back as benign! I have to go back im 6 months for another mammogram but I've been given the all clear.
I don't know what I would've done without this forum, reading people's story's and knowing that you aren't the only one feeling the way that you do is so important. At least we know there is always support. Thank you so much for your help and advice and a big virtual hug to everyone on here.

  • That's wonderful news Karenleona. I'm so pleased for you.

You're very welcome and remember we'll always be here for you if you need us.

    Now, go and celebrate!

  • Sorry to jump on here but I've been reading about calcifications and it's really helped hearing about everyone else experiences and how they coped.  I get the results from my biopsy in 3 days for a cluster of calcifications in my right breast.  They didn't show on a mammogram 2 years ago or an ultrasound a year ago.  I've had fluid filled cysts but never heard of calcifications before.  Not many ladies have had benign results sadly so it was so lovely to read that yours were.  So pleased for you and it gives me hope.  Have you had any further treatment?  Thanks x

  • Thank you so much for your reply, I'm so happy to have helped you in some small way. I will keep everything crossed for a benign result. Please keep me posted

    kindest regards
