Hi

I have suffered with armpit , neck and shoulder pain for nearly 2 months now . My armpit pain is constant and is getting slowly worse .

It occasionally spreads into my arms and upper back.

I have been to the dr who examined me and said I have no swelling anywhere . She told me not to worry and that it will probably be muscle problems.

I'm not convinced. What shall I do please?

Sorry you are suffering with this as I have the same issue too. Been told it's muscular and went for my physio appointment today. I am in a lot of pain especially in my left shoulder and arm. I also have swelling on front side of armpit. Shoulder pain really worries me incase it's something else but keep getting told it's muscular. Hoping physio will help as I constantly have a hot water bottle on it.

Hi Loulav,
A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear about your concerns. Do you have another GP in your practice that you could see? We are all entitled to a second opinion. It can be hard to convince ourselves that all really is clear. It is unusual to get pain associated with breast cancer.
