Symptoms?

Good evening everyone.

So I've tried to see my gp for the year but have only managed to get phone appointments. No face to face.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and ME/CFS however I'm concerned the symptoms of those may be connected to something else.

I have chronic fatigue, muscle pain, brain fog, memory loss, dizziness, leg pain, lower back pain, pain in bum when sat, pelvic pain, bladder and bowel pain, blind spots when the light has almost gone, armpit discomfort, itchiness all over and these horseshoe red itchy rashes only on my thighs that are beginning to spread.

I'm worried all this may be a form of cancer.

Has anyone had these symptoms especially the rashes and it being due to a form of cancer?

I don't know what to do as my gp just will not see me

  • I'm really sorry to read about your concerns and the difficulties you've been having trying to get a face to face appointment with your GP.

I can't begin to imagine how frustrating this must be, but do keep trying as they are the only one who can get to the bottom of this for you and put your mind at ease. I hope these tips on talking to your doctor will help but if you have more than one doctor working at your GP surgery then you could try getting a second opinion. If that's not possible then it may be worth getting in touch with the NHS on 111.

Hopefully some of our members who have encountered similar issues will offer their thoughts and advice to you soon as well.

    Kind regards,
