Hello everyone, I'm new on here but iv read a few posts on other people's experiences.

id just like to ask other people who got lymphnode removal from neck on what to expect?

it started few months back when I noticed a lump on my neck which was a swollen lymphnode.

pretty much from then i was refered to ENT urgent then for ultrasound scan, CT scan , fn biopsy then last my pet scan.

my ct scan showed two further swollen lymphnode in chest

my FN biopsy had a-typical squamous carcinoma cells.

my pet scan showed no tumour in body but they said I needed my lymphnode removed. 
 

I got it removed and they phoned me to come for my results tommorow, also had a call from respiratory as my biopsy of chest lymphnode is down as urgent.

I don't know what to expect or think 

kind off just want somebody else to talk me through their experience or even tell me what to expect. 
I thought my pet scan being clear was good but I'm worried again.
