I’m still worried

I have a lump on my chest, little lower than my collar bone.

it feels boney, I've had a chest X-ray, blood tests and an ultrasound which all came back clear. Is one of those likely to pick up a tumor? As the lump/mass is protruding from my chest.

the consultant did say my GP should have referred me for a CT scan but to attend my GP if I had any pain. Now sometimes there is a full ache but I'm not sure if it's just my imagination.

can someone please put my mind at ease.

  • Hi there, sorry to hear this. Did the consultant refer you on for the CT scan then, I wasn't sure from what you said.  All I can tell you and I hope it helps is that you could definitely see my lump on the ultrasound. Maybe it depends on the size, I don't know about that but I had someone with me for mine and they saw it on the ultrasound and medical staff used the ultrasound to place a metal marker on it. Xx
