Ovarian cyst and bright echogenic on liver

Hello,

I recently had an ultrasound sound after suffering with bloating and a missed period. This showed up a 5cm cyst on my right ovary and also noticed some fattyness in my liver and a very small echo bright. 
I am terrified this is cancer. I have had a blood test for CA125 levels and I feel like I'm going to get the worst news. 
Has anyone else ever experienced this and what was the outcome?

    I have bilateral complex ovarian cysts as they are 6 cm and 4 cm, and l am post menopausal they are due to be excised. I was admitted for surgery and cancelled due to lack of theatre time on Tuesday, Now rebooked for 16 th October and hope that it gets done then. 

    My cysts were found during a bowel scan, l was then referred to the gynaecology oncology clinic so rather a shock. 
     
     Have you spoken to the nurse specialist they are really helpful, 

    l hope all goes well and you have more information soon

    Hi Susie,

    thanks so much for your reply. No I haven't spoken with the nurses as yet.

    I am so worried but there has been no mention of cancer but just it needs further investigation because they don't know what it is. I was told by the radiographer that it was a functional cyst and likely to go but will be referred to gynae. However my gp said they did not put that on the report. I can't understand why they would say that. 
     

    I am 36 and have 2 lovely boys and I am scared I have a fight on my hands. 
     

    im so sorry you are dealing with these worries too. I have my ct scan on Monday and had blood tests yesterday which have come back but no call of the doc which I am hoping is good news.
