Test results- advice ?

Hello all, 

I was referred in November 2020 after 6 months of bleeding daily for a hysteroscopy, this was done in June eventually and the second one in July where they removed the polyps, I was told the results would be 6 to 8 weeks, just had a phone call and they want me in tomorrow to discuss results, I'm panicking now after such a long wait ..... could anybody advise me or reassure me what this may mean I am 34 and have been bleeding everyday now for over a year.

    We all tend to panic at this stage. Why, I don't know, as it won't influence the outcome either way. It is impossible to tell what your results will be tomorrow, as these will depend on the results of any tests you've had done.

    Hi I've just had a phone call to confirm they've found cancer, I couldn't attend tomorrow due to my best friends wedding. i have a meeting in 2 weeks to discuss treatment, thankyou for the fast reply. I shall read through a few forums and be lurking until i have more information. Thanks again.

    Oh Samii,

    I am so sorry to hear this.Did they tell you anything about the type or grade of cancer you've got?  Do your best to enjoy the wedding tomorrow.

    You will no doubt be feeling shocked at present, but this will become a little easier once you know exactly what you are dealing with. Remember that we are always here for you.
