Yes.  I had this today & it all turned out well.  5 Doctors were very concerned as my lump was firm.  Very quick appointment at the Breast clinic today.  The consultant told me outstraight that he was concerned & I was sent straight for a mammogram & then an ultrasound which showed one large cyst ( the firm lump) & lots of smaller ones on the left breast.

Thanks for the reply. I had the ultrasound and they couldn't say what it was which is why I had a biopsy. Hopefully it comes back ok

The mammogram showed up the cysts & they used the ultrasound to guide them draining it.

Hi [@Amylou09]‍ Have you any news yet? I'm thinking of you as I'm going through the same thing and am desperately looking for reassurance! The consultant who felt my lump originally wasn't concerned, but the radiologist was. Had 3 biopsies and then chat moved on to treatment/support etc, so it feels as though it's all been decided. Still a week at least until I get biopsy results and praying radiologist was wrong. I hope it was nothing in your case! Xx

Hi [@JJ73]‍, yes all good news for me. Got my results on Wednesday and turns out it's a Fibroadenoma. They said it would either go on its own, stay the same or get bigger so no further action needed at the moment.

Oh I'm so glad for you! You've actually brought tears to my eyes because I so need to hear something positive today, even if it's someone else's good news! You must have been so relieved! The consultant that I saw originally was totally convinced it was a fibroadenoma, which it was such a shock when the radiologist started hinting about cancer. Keep your fingers crossed for me, thank you for replying xxx

Hi [@JJ73]‍ i know exactly what you're going through. I had a horrible 7 days waiting for my results. It was the clinician that said she was concerned about my lump but after seeing everything together she downgraded the concern. Just think positive and it will work out. I have my fingers crossed for good news  Please let me know how you get on xx
