reassurance/advice please… sarcoma?

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have had a lump on my right upper arm for a while now (beginning of 2020?) and I left it for a while (didn't have any other symptoms wasn't too worried and lockdown!!). But I finally went to the doctor and I have an ultrasound on Friday this week. With this lump I've had the odd feeling of soreness in the arm/numbness like it's falling asleep and I have to wake it up?! These feelings are becoming more sore and are happening more often. My fingers/hand are achey. I also have very very tender/sensitive skin on that side? On the side of my torso, the back of my shoulder? I am also incredibly itchy but mainly on my back? I don't know if any of this is related but I'm driving myself crazy googling all of this and seeing saracoma's being the answers! Has anybody had a similar experience and can help give me some peace of mind or some honest advice? Thanks so much. First time posting on here.

  • Hello misa,

I hope your appointment goes ok on Friday and don't afraid to talk about all your concerns with the doctor. They will be the best person to advise you. When you are worried that you may have cancer, it can be tempting to look for answers online, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better and there's no way of knowing until your doctor investigates further.

    Best wishes,
