Hi all. Thanks for reading this. On Friday I attended a CT scan with the dye contrast after a previous ultrasound scan detected a heterogeneous pancreas.
I know I'm over thinking this but after the scan and before the radiograher removed the dye tube in my arm she told me she was going to check with the doctor to see if the result had come though (or words to that effect I think). I didn't think much of it at the time but now I'm terrified the reason the radiograher went to check with the doctor was because she had seen something bad (cancer I assume). As I said I know i'm overthinking but is this a sometimes normal practice or something that would only occur when something bad crops up. My understanding is that radiograhers were trained to read the results themeselves.
Thanks a lot in advance for any replies!
