Rash under breast?

I started out with a rash between my breasts, it's kind of a light brown colour which occasionally itches and goes sore. This morning I've noticed it has spread under my breasts, I had the first bit (between breasts) checked over a year ago and was told it was fungal and prescribed cream; it never got rid of it but it hasn't massively been itching or anything since until recently. Could it be Inflammatory breast cancer? I have a phone consultation on Monday as I'm concerned that it's now under my breast. No lump felt, nipples look fine etc. Thanks

    Hi Serene,

I am sorry to hear that you have had this trouble, but am glad to hear that you are getting it investigated. If your GP is worried, then s/he can see you in person. I am not a doctor, but have had a similar problem crop up from time to time  underneath my breasts. This has always been fungal and my GP has prescribed a cream that helps.

If your cream hasn't helped, make sure that you let your GP know, as some creams are more effective than others. It doesn't sound likely to be inflammatory breast cancer, but you are doing the right thing in checking it out.

Here's hoping that there is a simple explanation. Please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,
