Hi,

Has your GP actually examined it? If so, they may think it's vascular and it may be due to trauma? Perhaps keep a photo diary for the next month (once a week) to see if it changes. If it starts to face then it's probably trauma related. If it doesn't disappear or it continues to get bigger, I would ask to see a different practice GP in a month.
