Scary of ovarian problems

I know none of you might not bedoctors but I need to ask a few questions, 

 

I had an ultrasound today internal, was told I have enlarged ovaries and free fluid round my pelvis, I'm a bit worried as I haven't been very well lately, I also have been really tired, bleeding constantly and pain during sex, could someone please tell me I'm over thinking it, if not then what could be the reason for these as she said she couldn't tell me anymore then that as she has to get a consultation to look at my results :/ I'm so worried!!

    Hi Shanong 

    Its a worry to be told something is up but not the full issue, the scan will be seen by a consultant and referred on l had a colonoscopy and they referred me to gynaecology for an enlarged overy in the two weeks wait. You could contact the dr that sent you for the ultrasound to ask what the ongoing plan is. Enlarged overies are not always a problem and can shrink,

    Hi thank you for the reply, 

     

    the reason I'm so worried is cause I have pain during sex, different bowl movements, bleeding between periods they also said the a build up of fluids and a lot of pain, yeah I have a couple of people I can talk to!! Im going to ring my own gp tomorrow to see what the results are!
