on the 3rd of sept I was seen at the one stop ent clinic with a lump on my tounge that has not gone they told me not to worry they would put me on the cancer pathway as I got home my phone rang to say I was having an mri scan Monday morning 9am then covid test at 4 pm isolate had biopsy on the 9th doctor did say if mri showed nothing they would leave it but they took a biopsy and said if it's nothing I wouldn't be called back I have to go back on Wednesday I'm really anxious my father had lymphoma I have itchy skin shoulder pain pins nand needles I've had this lump since March but just carried on as my husband was ill with vascular and because it got larger I went my go said maybe inflamed tastebuds if they did go go back so I did and she did urgent referral I'm just waiting anyone else had this

    There's no way of knowing until further tests are done. I hope you're next appointment goes ok and don't be afraid to ask questions. When you are worried that you may have cancer, it can be tempting to look for answers online, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better. And the only person that can diagnose you is your doctor.
