so I do not even know where to start. In September 2020 I began getting a dull ache in my left testicle. This progressively got worse and after 1 week I got worried and went for an STI check and informed an out of hours GP who have me azithroymycin to be on the safe side. 
 

My test came back negative but my symptoms gradually got worse and the pain in my testicle began getting severe. I went to my GP and was given ciprofloxacin for 2 weeks and also sent me for a scan which turned out to be normal and nothing seemed wrong. Ciprofloxacin improved my symptoms and made them go away near the end of my course however, a week after taking them I began getting the dull ache again. 
 

I called the GP and was advised to take a trip to the sexual health clinic which I did and the GP there issued my doxycycline capsules to take for 2 weeks. This did not help my symptoms at all and the pain continued. 
 

I contacted my GP and was then given 2 months worth of ciprofloxacin and my GP said I have epydidimiytis. After taking the ciprofloxacin for around a month and half and feeling the side effect my pain still had not gone away and I returned to the GP and asked for a second scan or to see a specialist which was declined. I was given amytriptyline for my pain however, I explained to the doctor I do not want to take medication to cover up my pain if there is an issue there.

He recommended I take the amitryptyline and see how I get on. I have been taking amitryptline, paracetamol and ibuprofen and my pain is still there. 
 

my testicles feel tight when I pass stool, and my semen is a lot thicker than normal which I also explained to the gp and he said this is normal. My left testicle feels lower then my right and very sensitive to touch sometimes. 
 

I am 22 years old and the dull ache/pain and discomfort is driving me to insanity. I explained to the GP I do not want to take painkillers to cover up the issue and due to my job for the nhs I am not able to take stronger pain relief.

if anyone can help in anyway it would be much appreciated as I feel totally helpless and do not know what to do anymore.
