while on hols a couple of weeks ago, my wife (38) noticed a small lump in her left breast after an episode of itchyness. she has 3 small lumps on her left armpit and one on her right armpit which have been there for years (she went a while back to her GP and was told it was nothing to worry about) , plus an inverted nipple which again she had for years . called GP last week, was seen the day after and referred with 2ww appointment to breast clinic - GP spoke about getting a biopsy but also said lump felt mobile which seems to be a good thing. since then we realised she has 3 small lumps (which feel tender and mobile), one on the back of her neck, one on her chest (close to the sternum, on the left side) and one on top of her belly button. we'll be seen on Thursday - very good so quick but she was concerned it may be something serious. I'm trying not to Google too much but obviously I'm worried - specially about those other little lumps which seems we never noticed, however there's a chance we're paying much more attention now so I can't exclude they've been there forever.
we're waiting to see the consultant of course and it will be good to know if there's anything to worry about (whatever that is), but I was wondering if there could be any other explanations about those small lumps in unrelated areas which may not be what nobody wants it to be.
