Hi new to this 

my mum had breast cancer in left breast picked up after routine mammogram no lump was felt.  She had it removed and lymph node this happened a few years ago.

I was on the phone chatting to her when I said on my boob hurts and she said I must get it checked so I promised I would.  Made an appointment and went to see gp.  I am 46 and believed he would just have a feel of my breast and tell me it was hormonal changes and not to worry.  But he found a lump and I have an urgent referral to breast clinic with an appointment on Wednesday.

I am not worried about what they find but I am really scared that there is nothing and they just think I am wasting everyone time and was just being over dramatic 

i know that will sound mad but this is how I feel
