I'm sorry your mum has recently found a lump in her groin that is on the same side that she had her melanoma.

It's completely understandable to be worried about this but hopefully the lump won't be anything sinister. I'm not sure if your mum has booked an appointment with her GP yet to get this checked out, but if she hasn't do encourage her to do so as they will be able to examine it in more detail and let her know if it's any cause for concern. We'll hope this won't be the case but it's always best to get any new or unusual symptoms looked at, if only for peace of mind.

I'm not sure if you're referring to lymphoma when you say lymph cancer, but if you are, you can find out more just here, but keep in mind that it isn't a substitute for a medical opinion.
