My mom had a transvaginal scan today following a slightly raised CA125 of 53. Her Gp has since contacted her to say they are referring her urgently to hospital as they have seen something on her left ovary. They mentioned cancer and a hysterectomy. I just wondering if it could be fibroids or something innocent? If it is cancer, I’m hoping and praying it’s early stages. She has had no other symptoms at all and it was only followed up following her CA125. Thank you all.
