Breast lump extremely worried

Hi, I'm 35 and last night found a lump in right breast, been to gp today and she says I've no skin changes or lumps in armpits or around collarbone but my lump is non moveable and tubular shaped! It didn't really ache until its been messed with. I have been referred to breast clinic, just waiting for appointment now. I'm a mum to 3 kids 13,10 and 11 months, I also get married at end of month so I'm absolutely petrified of leaving my kids. I feel so sick and worried.

  • Hi there,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can understand this must be really unsettling and difficult. It's easier said than done but try not to get ahead of yourself or assume anything at this point. It's best to wait for the tests and results, and in the meantime try to keep busy to keep your mind off things as much as possible.

There will be many others here who have been through something similar, so hopefully you'll receive further replies soon.

You may also find this information useful from Breast Cancer Now about what to expect at a breast clinic appointment.

    Wishing you all the best,
