I understand the mind process and have been through and going through similar. The days until the appointment are the worst, I have had weeks of waiting, then tests, then waiting again. I cant take away your anxiety until the meeting but can reassure you if it is unexpected news that support, care and treatment is available. I hope all goes well.

Hi, the waiting bit is always the worst.

I'm really glad you've been too get this checked in the first place and had it removed is a plus. whatever it is they've got the results back quickly which is good - however i would suspect like you do being called back so soon you do fear the worst.
Try and keep positive-which I know is hard.

Go to your appointment with someone (if that's possible) to try and take in information-sometimes information overload. 
Lots Of us on here with similar situations /outcome /fears.

I can understand your anxiety, especially with getting such quick results. I'm assuming that your results have come back so quickly because of the depth of the mole - they may have asked for it checking out quickly due to this. Every biopsy patient, whether the results are good or bad, are discussed at the MDT (Multi Disciplinary Team meeting made up of dermatologists, plastic surgeons, oncologists and nurses) so this doesn't signify whether the results are clear or not. 

As Effie has said, the plus points are that you got it checked out and it's been removed very quickly. There is still a good chance it's come back benign or dysplastic (pre-cancerous) but if it is malignant don't panic. Treatment is very good these days so it's not 'the end of the world' as my consultant told me many years ago. 

If you can't take anyone with you, ask the consultant if you can record the consultation on your phone or take a notebook to write down what they say, otherwise you will only remember half of what is said. Meanwhile, try and not focus too much on what might be said. Distract yourself if you can and good luck on Monday. Please let us know how you get on,
