Hi, I had a mole removed from my back 23rd August this year, 2021, the consultant told me it was likely benign but there were question marks like.....its unusual to get a new mole over the age of 40 & I'm 49 & it's 1 mole on its own, I don't have any others & he said it was ugly....jaggers edges & dark in colour. He called it a wart mole.......deep rooted & it was because the surgeon had to cut quite deep into my back to remove it all.
I was told 4-6wks for the results, today it has been 1wk & 4 days and I received a phone call telling me that the doctors had a meeting and would like to see me on Monday at 2.30pm. I have no idea what I'm going to be told, I am presuming the mole was malignant otherwise why do the doctors want to see me and why did they have a meeting......has anyone else experienced this or similar, my mind is racing & I am trying to think positively, I look at my 4yr old and I want to cry but that isn't going to change anything is it, my heart goes out to anyone having to wait more than 3 days x
