Breast biopsy

Hi , dont even know if im posting in right place , i noticed a brown discharge when squeezing my nipple ,so made appointment next day , dr examined and said felt lumpy aswell and made 2 week referal , i went hospital  on Wednesday ( 10 days after drs) , had mammogram, ultra sound and then 2 biopsies , im so worried as there is a sausage shape lump behind my nipple ( i dont know how ive never felt it as its just obviosly there now ) , im so worried , im just assuming the worst

    Welcome to Cancer Chat and you definitely posted in the right place by the way!  You did the right thing in getting this looked at immediately after you noticed this brown discharge when squeezing your nipple. It's great that things have moved quickly and that you were seen by the hospital just 10 days after seeing the doctor. 

    I hope you won't have to wait too long for your biopsy results. I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. It's best not to assume the worst as there are so many things it could be so try and keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online as this will only make you worry even more. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

    I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

    Thank you , my appointment is 13th september to find out results , tho its really hard not to worry , i just think its the worst , they must have seen something and now i can feel it , to do biopsies , i cant stop crying when alone , i dont show my children and keep brave face , i dont want them to grow older without a mum xx
