Hi, I've seen many posts about people with swollen lymph nodes and know that often these are considered reactive and not a worry, however my 2 year old son has multiple (10+) palpable lymph nodes in his neck and probably the same amount now in his groin. He suffers with very frequent infections and is already under ENT for other reasons. ENT ordered a neck ultrasound and we had a call to say the ultrasound had been looked at by someone senior and they were very interested in seeing my son and also likely to take a lymph node out to biopsy. Has anyone had a biopsy on their child? It's going to be under general anaesthetic which scares me in itself let alone what could be wrong. I've lost count of the number of covid tests we've had because he has a high temperature so often. Some of the lymph nodes have been swollen a year as they were checked at a paediatrician appt this time last year when I was concerned when they said they felt normal and not to worry. So I didn't for a year until the ENT Dr felt and ordered the ultrasound. I think there are more nodes now than previously and I don't remember feeling his groin before so unsure how long those have been there. Does anyone have a similar experience that can put my mind at rest?
Thanks
