Hey people.. not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm a little worried.. a few years ago I was diagnosed with fibrocystic breasts. I don't check as often as I should but a couple weeks ago I felt a lump that wasn't a normal lump, then I found another one. Went to the doctors and she did the normal 'don't tell me where they are' so I didn't.. she found the lumps I went for but also found more and also found one on my armpit (axilla I think) she referred me for an urgent breast screening and my appointment is on Friday. When they called to discuss the appointment they said I would get the results at the appointment. I'm just wondering if I do have breast cancer does that mean I will be told at the appointment or will I have to wait for more tests? They said that I will more than likely be checked by a specialist and will go for either an ultrasound, mammogram or MRI maybe even all 3.
