4 years ago I found a found lump in my left breast, was referred to the breast clinic and assured it was just a small cluster of cysts, each too small to find to drain.
About 2 weeks ago, I realised it had grown, quite quickly I think because although I didn't check regularly I have checked in the last 4 years and felt nothing untoward.
So took myself to the GP.
She checked it out and surprised me by saying it was 7cm! I only have quite small boobs, so this seems pretty big in there!
She thinks it's just the cysts getting together and that it'll just be an easy job to drain now, unlike in 2017.
But, 48hrs or so later and my brain is in overdrive.
7cm is Big! And it happened fast. Do Cysts grow to this size? Quick Google searches (I have not fallen down the rabbit hole yet) and I'm finding talk of 1.5-2cm ones.
It's sore.
I thought it was just hormonal and muscular pain but, of course, now I realise it isn't that, it's the lump that hurts
I just need to talk to someone, my husband works away and is super stressed on a new site, my dad just lost his partner to Breast cancer last year and my sister gets health anxiety so I'm feeling a little lost and in my own here.
