I had 2 skin biopsies 2 weeks ago and have just received a phone call to go in for the results on Thursday. Initially, they said I would receive a letter with the results, but the person on the phone said the letter has been sent but probably won't be here by Thursday.

The person on the phone also said that this appointment would be with a nurse this time and not with the consultant as the 2 before have been (initial check and then the excision to remove the moles). 

Does anyone know why this next appointment would be with a nurse and not the consultant?
