Oncologist appointment

Hi I am a little worried I have been experiencing some problems with my bowels and ended up at the hospital who couldn't find a cause but the dr sis say he would refer me for a colonscopy on the 2 week referral but I have just learned that I have been referred to the oncologist does this mean that they found something or what  worried sick as I wasn't expecting this plz anyone else seen an oncologist with a diagnosis

    Unfortunately it's not really possible to read into what things might mean or what to expect - each doctor will be a specialist in a given area so if no-one has been able to diagnose anything so far, then it may be that the colonoscopy and oncologist appointment is the next step. I'm not sure if you've had the colonoscopy yet or not, but hopefully you'll get your next appointment through soon - and I hope it's not too long to wait to find out more, as I know the uncertainty is never easy.
