Had a chest CT scan a few weeks ago and they found 'small 6mm flat nodule of doubtful significance' but the radiologist did not report on the characteristics of the nodule. The chest consultant said that it needs another CT scan in 3 months and then 12 months to check for growth as it is semi-solid.
Google says that the majority of semi-solid nodules are highly suspicious for lung cancer.
Does anyone have any advice on wether or not it is highly suspicious of lung cancer or could there be a chance it is benign?
