Hi everyone,

I have been on the Mini pill since I had my son 2 and a half years ago and only ever experienced light spotting every couple of months. Up untill 2 days ago I have been bleeding none stop for 8 weeks, a dark brown foul smelling 'period' which in the last week turned bright red. Since stopping bleeding 2 days ago I have now started with what feels like period pain or a diorhea feeling but nothing there.

I contacted the Doctors on Friday who have insisted I go for a Cervial exam, swabs and blood tests on Tuesday. I had my smear 2 years ago which was clear. Apparently Cervical cancer is not heriditory, however my mother, grandmother and great grandmother all had it (and survived) at the same age as I am now. So I am feeling slightly worried shall we say.

I just wanted to see if I am worrying over nothing or wether I should be bracing myself compared to others stories. I have 2 young children and have been with my husband for 10 years.
