I'm sorry to hear that you've had some recent concerns with your breast health. It's good to know that you've got an appointment at the breast clinic later this week. 

Initially at the clinic they will take a medical history and then you'll likely see a Dr or specialist nurse for a breast examination. depending on how old you are you may be sent for a mammogram and/or an ultrasound. Typically women under 40 aren't given mammograms because younger women have more dense breast tissue which makes it harder for any changes to be seen. Sometimes if areas of concern are noticed then they may want to do a biopsy at the clinic but don't worry as this is done under local anaesthetic. Try to keep in mind that the vast majority of women seen at breast clinic do not go on to be diagnosed with cancer.
