I believe that the sense of smell of some dogs is very sensitive and they are possibly able to smell something although I don't know what. My dog started licking the mole on my shin - a few weeks later it was diagnosed as melanoma. Many years later the melanoma returned in the node in my groin which was diagnosed by a fine needle biopsy. Before I went to have it removed, I visited my brother and, before I could tell them the news their Labrador continually pushed his nose into my groin!

I'm good thank you. The first diagnosis was 25 years ago and the last one was 12 years ago. Still here, fighting fit xx
