Hi, I went to a breast clinic recently and they found a bump in my boob, they said they're gonna send off for a ultrasound but I've found out it's gonan be about 2ish months till they have an appointment for me,

however I'm really worried I have anxiety already and the reason I went to the breast clinic is the first place is because my aunts  are getting tested with the BRAC gene, which means my parent might have it who is still waiting on testing due to a terrible back log. I can't get tested untill they do. Therefor I'm highly worried I could have this gene and not know yet and if I do waiting months for this bump to be diagnosed is even scarier.

But I'm also thinking the doctor would have fast trackers they thought the bump was concerning or maybe they did and there's just a hard timing getting appointments for this. I was waiting nearly a year to get seen at the breast clinic in the first place. Does anyone know the options on going private is it somthing I can just switch to or ask for? Will I get seen quicker. I'd do anything to ease my anxiety right now. I'm feeling my lump daily and feeling pains which might be in my head now I know it's there. Or should I just wait.
