Hi everyone I am 44 years old and have been having issues with my right breast. Feeling very sensitive to touch and could feel a lump so went to my gp who put me on a 2 week emergency appointment with the Breast clinic.
I had a check up and mammogram on both breasts and was waiting for my final check with ultra sound but was called back for another more intense mammogram on my left breast( the one with no issues) alarm bells began to ring.
I then went into my ultra sound appointment and the consultant kept going on about the size of the lump in my left breast which is apparently 6cm. I can't feel the lump in my left breast and can't see or feel any change and there is no pain.
I have had a non cancerous lump removed from my left breast when I was 16 years old and that was very visible and I felt it straight away back then.
I am now waiting for my biopsy appointment and am terrified for the results.
