Hello!

my biopsy came back clear. They did more scans and found that instead of my uterine wall being that size, it was actually just a lot of loose blood accumulating in my uterus.

I have surgery next week for a confirmation of endometriosis, as well as dilation and clear out of my womb 

as of now, I can keep my uterus etc. but if the tissue growth is too much I may need a full hysterectomy

what kind of surgery is it your having to diagnose edometriosis ? Are u having d and c  under ga ?

hope all goes well for you! 
everything I researched doesn't mention many people in their 20's it's crazy! 

how will they know when your tissue growth is "too much"

under general I'll have the d+c, a laparoscopy and also my coil removed and new one put in x

it's basically if the endometriosis is very bad and spread to other places (the pains still unbearable). If it's too much to cut easy, a hysterectomy may be suggested. I'm having pain in my behind too so they're going to check if tissue has spread to my bowels etc

i can report back after my surgery! It's on the 17th

Hey I hope your OK and what was the out come of everything? As I've had my doctors on the phone today and they told me the out come of my scan I have a thickness of 29mm and I've got bleeding really heavy plus passing clots and a lot of pain, for the past year and I just want to know what has happened with you so I can prepare myself aswell 

Hey lovely I’m awaiting biopsy results as I have a thickness of 20.73 and a polyp. I self referred myself at a private clinic for an ultrasound as I felt something was off. I’m trying to not wind myself up, but I also want to prepare myself too 

I have my 1st appointment on the 13th after finding out my line is 29mm and I have fibroid as well so I'll let you know what happens I'm worried and scared 

I have 21mm Endometrium thickness and am waiting to get called for a biopsy.. I couldn’t tolerate biopsy pain in clinic so they will now give me general anaesthetic and do the biopsy.

Am premenopausal and was told this thickness is bizarre. Will let you know the outcome.

What are the next steps for you?
