I know how worrying it is but I would wait until tomorrow. The appointment will no doubt come through the post so, with the weekend in between, it may not get to you until tomorrow. If it doesn't land on your mat when your postie usually delivers (ours comes around midday) I would then give the hospital a call. Explain that your GP suggestedf you ring to chase it up - that way you are only doing what your doctor says and they shouldn't get annoyed with you (they shouldn't get annoyed with you anyway!)

I ended up ringing around 4pm and the lady was lovely. She said they are waiting for the new clinic time and will send out an appointment through post as soon as she gets them

i also spoke to the doctor yesterday about my about my anxiety and not being able to sleep. She didn't want to give me anything at the moment as it's only been a week. I did explain I'm getting a lot of pain/weakness in my left arm and leg and don't know if it's triggered by all of this or something else (I'm scared it's melanoma that's spread). I'm sorry I'm putting this on here I haven't spoken to anybody about what I'm going through or the referral.
