Worried about FIT test result

Hi,

Firstly sorry about my english. I am 35yrs old, i had positive fit test result today wich was 14ug/g ( is that number high i dont know ) i had IBS and other symptoms such as bloading and green or dark tarty stool for long time. Realy worried and concerned. Any advise what that number means.

    Hello Abs, my partner had a positive FIT test earlier this year. His reading was 11. His GP said that she has seen results of over 100 so your result sounds very low. My partner had a colonoscopy and the result was that he has a haemorrhoid. They gave him the result immediately. The worst thing is waiting for an appointment and to find out what is wrong as all sorts of worries run through your head. Try to relax. Most of these things are nothing. You are getting it checked out so on the right road. I'm sure you will be fine xxx
