Hello all 

quick summery I had a colonoscopy and results were they found some ulcers but not overly concerned. I then went for CT with contrast and found I had thickening of the oesophageal lining. Then referred for an endoscopy and they said I had a small hiatus hernia and they also found a small growth. They have taken biopsies saying either way it will need to be removed at some point and waiting for results, 5 weeks have past and I've heard nothing so phoned the consultants office to chase up my results to be told I've been handed over to another consultant they have the results but they are in an admin pile waiting for the consultant to have a look!

Now first of all I'm appalled that I'm left stressing out, surely it's better to say yes it is or no it isn't ASAP ? 
I then googled the new consultant and he's a colorectal specialist. Yet I got the all clear that end and thought it would better benefit a gastrointestinal specialist???
