Swollen lymph node

Hey , so about 4/5 years ago I had a really bad case of acute to tonsillitis and I had a lump (swollen lymph node on one side of my neck) and it didn't go away with my infection I was referred on to a hospital where the doctor looked in my throat and just said it's fine and will go down (4/5 years ago). I got on with it and a few months ago I thought about it again and it is still there I don't think it has grown and it's not hard. I have no other kinds of symptoms. My tonsils do swell whenever I get a cold etc so I don't know if it's just a lymph node which has stayed swollen or what. I've been doctors and they haven't checked just listened to me and said it's nothing of concern as I have no other kind of symptoms, but when I google it says it's not normal to have a swollen lymph node, I'm scared it's lymphoma but I don't know if that's just because im so anxious now. I do suffer from bad anxiety and health anxiety , can stress make lymph nodes swell ? Or even pushing on them ? Has anyone else had similar experience? Or any advice would be great?
