Hi, 

On Wednesday I had a smear. I've been experiencing pain during sex and could feel a lump when doing a self examination. I've had no bleeding between periods but I keep bloating and feel so extremely tired all of the time. During the smear the nurse stopped to get a doctor! I've never had that happen to me before. They were there together for a good 10 mins and told me to get changed so we could have a chat! I'm not going to lie my heart sank! He said that my cervix is extremely swollen and inflamed and that it had dropped and wanted to get me referred urgently to the gynaecologist. He said he couldn't promise it was not anything nasty but could promise I would get seen as soon as possible. The only other symptom I have is I sometimes feel I have a brick inside it's heavy. I'm 34 and had a section brith. I only have one child. 
 

im so scared in case it's anything serious. Has anyone experienced anything similar at all? Thanks
