I found out today I have this condition and need to have a biopsy taken as my lining is 3cm.
Waiting for an appointment and trying not to think the worst.
Has anyone else been in this situation that can give me some advice xxx

Hiya
I too was diagnosed with this 5 days ago. I have the complex one with atypia which my consultant told me means I have pre-cancerous cells. My sister was also diagnosed with it at the beginning of the year but she has the simple one without atypia.
Her treatment is the Merina coil which appears to be doing its work and, I believe in a high number of cases, reverses the condition. At the moment I have been told my treatment will probably be a hysterectomy. I had a pelvic MRI this week and am due to see the consultant next week. I'm currently also taking Provera tablets.
The one thing that has really annoyed me going through all of this process is the lack of communication. It really has been a struggle extracting information out of people.
Take care x
Thanks so much for replying and telling me your own situation. I'm so sorry that you have been told about having to have a hysterectomy. I fear this is what they will tell me.
Can you ask what symptoms you were showing? I was prolonged heavy bleeding with clotting and left side pain which I guess was my ovary.
Will you keep me updated on how you get on. Wishing you all the very best xxxxxx
My only symptom was "slight pinking" on just 3 occasions over a couple of days. It has never happened again and that was over 3 months ago. I'm 53 years old and post menopause. Are you pre or post menopause? When I was pre menopause, at 47 years old, I had really heavy bleeding with clots so had a biopsy and it came back all okay.
I most definitely will keep you posted. You too. It really is a rollercoaster being a female of a certain age!
Loads of hugs and happy thoughts coming your way xxx
I'm 35, no children due to more issues. I've got pcos so my periods have never behaved.
It definitely is a roller coster.
Loads of hugs back to you and will keep you posted xxxx
Hello,
im just wondering how you got on with this? My lining is 26-29mm and I'm worried sick. I'm only 22.
Thank you for your reply
im Already on the pill as well as had a coil fitted...I'm just hoping for the best.
I hope the treatment works for you x
I have a second biopsy scheduled for Friday along side a hyserscopy - my first biopsy didn't provide a good enough sample as it was too thick and clogged in the tube. They just keep saying they need to "get on top of pre cancerous cells" which is what is worrying me.
The first biopsy was extremely painful. I'm not looking forward to the second. I'm struggling as it's all being done via the hospital so nobody is telling me what is going on, or what the options are after results etc
Thank you for that tip! I'll be sure to ask.
I hope your follow up biopsy all goes well.
