Pancreatic cancer

I am deteriorating everyday and don't know what to do.

I have visited a and e several times over the past few days and told them about suspected pancreatic cancer and they ran blood tests and said nothing wrong with me.

I've been essentially bed bound for the past few weeks with a really uncomfortable feeling in chest, stomach with bad back pain.

I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago which was normal but couldn't see much of the pancreas.

My analyse levels were normal but have inflammatory markers in my stool.

Have really bad constipation and can barely eat anymore. I've lost nearly a stone in past 2 months. I'm 9st 11 now.

Have to wait weeks for gastroenterology appointment.

Anyone else had experiences of this or a loved one? I feel like it's going to be diagnosed in a late stage.

I am so weak and fatigued. A and e won't do ct scan and doctors won't either. Can't afford private. I'm 27 with type 1 diabetes.

Please can someone help me. I'm terrified

  • Hello

    Right in short...

I was told in May that I had raised liver function

So had a ultrasound scan which showed dilated pancreatic duct.

Done a amylase blood test which was normal.

Next you need a ct scan.. That showed a soft tissue nodule at the ampulla.

Next you need a endoscopy which was normal. Got given the paper report that day and no one said i've got to have another appointment.

Absolutely no one has spoken to me! I received a out patient appointment for the 25th of this month. Thinking it's about the endoscopy result.

Then this morning I get a phone call from the hospital saying I've got to have a EUS. on the 24th!

I just don't understand what is going on.

    Now I'm absolutely petrified.
