Hi,

I have been very worried as my mom has had a lump in her groin. She has had it for a long time now approximately since August last year. She went to the gp whne she first noticed it but they told her not to worry. So we kind of stoped thinking about it at all. 
In June her foot ( on the leg where the lump is) started to swell a lot. We went to ER and the doctor though it could be DVT. However after doing the scans on her legs they said it wasn't that. Then in another doctors appointment they had a look at her lump this time the doctor thought it could be a hernia so referred her for a ultrasound. Because her foot swelling won't go down we had another doctor appointment this time the doctor though it could be a suspected malignancy so referred her to a ct scan. Now she's had her ct and had her ultrasound today. The doctor doing the ultrasound seemed very concerned and said he will have a look at her ct and ultrasound images again. 
she has been having furosemide for the swelling in her foot which is helping.

im very worried and confused, so I was just wondering if someone been through something similar.
