Yes I did hun, but things were caught early and everything is looking brighter now.

the waiting is the worst by far, it literally drives you insane! I don't actually think I could go back to that dark place again.

you will be fine tomorrow, just ask whatever questions you want afterwards and ask how long for the results xx

I came across this chat via Google search I'm waiting on an urgent 2 week hysteroscopy appointment as they suspect womb cancer, my new gp is amazing referred me straight away to gyno Dr & for scans had the scans last Wednesday & my GP told me Thur that he had referred me urgently for 2 week appointment at gyno appointment, I got a letter from hospital saying if I hadn't heard by yesterday to contact them so I contacted the outpatient department then got told to contact gyno department directly who look at my notes said that the gyno Dr had a look & wants to book Me for a hysterscopy  within 2 weeks window but I need to ring someone else for this appointment as they deal with the hysterscopy so I rang & left a message yesterday never heard back rang today most of day & number goes straight through to voicemail,so I ring the gyno department back up they tell me to ring appointment line again who couldn't of been more helpful told me that the person I need to speak to is on annual leave till Friday but she contact her colleague to get in touch with me to book the appointment,fingers crossed I hear back from.them soon as it will be a week on Thur .

All I can think about is I got cancer I just want to have the hysterosy so they can do the biospy etc

Ive got a couple of questions 

Does it hurt having the hysteroscopy without a ga? I had fibroids removed last year without one & nearly died as was in so much pain 

What is the recovery like ?

Hi , I had the hysteroscopy done without GA.It was a little uncomfortable but was very quick and I was glad I got it over and done with.

Hi I had my hysteroscopy done yesterday under GA,the nurses where absolutely fantastic.I came home mid afternoon slight bleeding and tummy cramps.Everything seemed normal removed a polyp just have to wait for biopsy results now.

Hi I'm booked in for hysteroscopy on Wednesday with GA..  my scan showed thickening. I'm hoping it's a polyp which the consultant said he would remove.  
 

Can't help worrying!
