Hello
I'm 38, so pre-menopause, diabetic and overweight and had continuous bleeding for 252 days (brought on by the Metformin) before I had a hysteroscopy and biopsy of the womb lining.
Follow up appointment and the polyp was the size of a fist (which apparently is very rare) and he said there were pre-cancerous cells (in the lining I assume, not the polyp).
I am urgently being referred to oncology with a view to biopsies every six months and have been put on 20mg Provera. Consultant warned that Oncology may suggest hysterectomy due to family history (Mum) of endometrial cancer.
Today, I had to have a repeat blood test as immunoglobulins were flagged up - could this be related?
None of my friends are bothered and just say it's nothing if it's pre-cancerous and its really common, so don't really have anyone to talk too.
