I’ve been through cervical cancer and one thing I’ve learned is that it’s not particularly useful to try and compare symptoms to others as it may not be relevant and can just increase your anxiety. Some people have no symptoms, some people have many-we are all different.  Your symptoms could well mean something else, not necessarily cancer, and there is really no way of knowing what is wrong until you have tests. I understand that you are worried, and any symptoms you are feeling you have can be magnified and feel much worse because of this. A smear test is a screening test, not a diagnostic test for cervical cancer, but I’m sure if anything untoward is spotted you will have further investigations. x
