Hi everybody - I am new here and not sure where to start..
I'm 36 and went to my GP last year with painful periods. He ordered me some ultrasounds and long story short they found 2 large cysts (around 10cm each) on each ovary, one of which was septated? Not sure what that means or how common bilateral cysts are
I had an MRI scan last Friday and I have had a call already to say the GP wants to talk to me about what she has found. Is this normal procedure to get the results back so quick?
I don't have any family history of ovarian cancer but I am still so terrified that it could be something sinister! Thankfully I have stayed off of Google (for the most part) but I can't shake the feeling it's something bad
